Powering Islands in the Philippines

JJ-Lapp Cable Philippines provides fuel for future success to the diesel power plant industry.
On September 21, 2016, two sales team members of JJ-Lapp Cable Philippines (JJLP) embarked on a land-to-sea and sea-to-land journey to visit an ongoing 20MW Diesel Power Plant project in San Jose, a town in Mindoro Island.
Occidental Mindoro Consolidated Power Corporation is one of the many power and energy organisations that has chosen JJLP’s premium cable solutions. The S$200,000 project was secured in January 2016. In the same year, working with partner contractor LMA Trading and Services, the business unit also won several other Diesel Power Plant Projects across the country, in locations like General Santos City, Agusan Del Sur and Bukidnon. Increased developments in the island provinces have fed a sharp increase in the demand for power, prompting the government to invest in more power-generating projects.
“With our recent success in these projects, JJLP is looking forward to even more and bigger projects in the future,” shared Joel Pineda, Sales Engineer.
