What do you do and what do you enjoy most about your job?
Since Cambodia is a small market JJCB represents all the business units. Previously, I am in charge of many things, but since recently I am focusing on Communication and Technology businesses. My daily activities are
(1) actively approach the targeted customers.
(2) constantly watching the market for new opportunity and developing the right strategies corresponding to it.
(3) provide support to the General Manager in day-to-day business.
I enjoy having the opportunity to be the first staff of the new legal entity—JJ Cambodia—experiencing the start up of the new operation. I especially enjoy learning new things, and improving my skill-set.
What is your experience of Jebsen & Jessen as an employer?
They have many new leading solutions/technologies to offer to the market which is really one of the most challenging tasks in Cambodia. Plus my colleagues are friendly and helpful.
I chose JJSEA becuase they offer me the opportunity to expand my responsibility and role not only in Cambodia, but also in the ASEAN region in the future.
What did you learn and how did you develop since you joined the company?
A deeper understanding on how to approach customers who have different backgrounds (education, past
experience, expertise in the field, current position, etc).
Also how different business units require different dynamic sales techniques to successfully close a deal.
I have time to learn from the job and from my colleagues from other countries and business units. Recently I had some consultations with the HR Dept, and I am still looking forward to receiving more dedicated training sessions in the near future.
Where do see yourself in five years from now ?
I would like to be in charge of business development in Cambodia, but I would also not mind finding myself in a similar position somewhere around SEA.
